Course Objective
  • Assist the participant with a proper & basic caring skill and knowledge to provide a quality care to Care Recipient  (i.e. senior citizens, disabilities) after the training

  • Personal Hygiene & Grooming
  • Elimination & Waste Management
  • Oral Feeding
  • Home Safety (Fall Prevention & Management)
  • Transferring & Movement
  • Medication Management
Who should attend
  • Caregivers (i.e. Family members, domestic helpers) of the elderly, disabilities or with severe dementia
Entry Requirement
  • Physically Fit (Note: Pregnant ladies are not allowed for this training)
  • Able to read, speak and understand simple English

  • 7 Hours
  • Venue: Singapore Caregiving Academy 
    - Training Room - St. John Singapore HQ 420 Beach Road Singapore 199582 or Teck Ghee RC Zone D - 337 Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 #01 - 2029 Singpore 560337 or other venues (such as community centre, community club, residents' committee, etc.)

  • S$140 per participant
    Note: 
    This program is Pre- Approved Program by Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) and is eligible for Caregiver Trainign Grant (CTG) & Foreign Domestic Worker Grant (FDWG).  For the details of CTG & FDWG, please search www.aic.sg for the details
  • This program is also eligible for Caregiver Training Course Rebate (CTCR) which is designed for all Singaporean/P.R. (age 18 or above) with 50% OFF for the course fee immediately or maximum up to S$500 in each calendar year.
Certification
  • Certificate of Attendance with 100% attendance after the training

Course Application Procedure

  • Step 1: Complete the Course Registration & Caregiver Training Grant (CTG) Application Form  with related documents and submit to us
  • Step 2: Attach the listed and required documents to submit together
  •            - Care Recipient's NRIC Copy (Front & Back)
  •            - Employer's NRIC Copy (Front & Back)
    • - Participant’s (Singaporean or PR) NRIC Copy (Front & Back); or
    • - A copy of participant’s (Domestic Helper) Work Permit (Front & Back)
  • Step 3: Submission Method

  • Note: If choose to submit by email / fax, the original copy of CTG Application Form must be submitted on the first day of training
Payment: 
  • Method 1: By Cash (the Course Fee must submit 12 working days before the course commencement) 
  • - Note: for CTG Participant, will need to pay the co-payment on the first day of training if the grant is approved
  • Method 2: By Cheque
    • - Write down the Course Code / Name of Trainee and the Training Date on behind of the cheque
    • - Make the cheque payable to:
